Question for 1st MP3 in NH

or any other audio wizz out there....i have a Phoenix Gold XS6600 system amp that was given to me and i was wondering what kind of power it puts out?....and what type of subs i could use with it....i was hoping maybe a JL 8.1 Microsub or two because they are going in a car that is tubbed with a roll cage and im kinda cramped for space...hehe
And also i have a in my P5 i have a JL 500/1 amp and i can also have a box with two JL 12 W3's(2 ohm) if they will work with my amp....any help would be much appreciated

Which amp do you want to use the 12W3s with?
Also what are there impedance, dual 2 ohm coils? There are no single coil W3s
Any impedance W3 will work with the JL 500/1.

Heres the link for the amps manual:

You can definitly do 1 or 2 of the microsubs off of the sub channels of the XS6600. If you use a single one then just wire it to one channel of the amp and you'll get 75 watts to the sub. If you have 2 of them then bridge the amops channels and wire the micros in parallel to the amp. It can handle a 2 ohm bridged load. Each sub will get 150 watts rms.

well the subs are dual 2ohm coils and i will be using them with the 500/1 untill i can get a 12 w6v2 or maybe a 10w7...also can you recomend a good set of components and rear door speakers to run off a 300/4....im only looking for JL to keep the system looking clean

The JL VR series speakers are the best I have heard until you spend twice as much. The XRs will give you more low bass but less mids and less clarity. I have 6.5" VR componenets runnign of my 300/4 right now and I love them.
