question about mazda parts

I was wondering if any one here works for a mazda parts dept. I have a 2007 mazda5 GT and the first week we had it the check engine lamp came on at 150 miles. I took it in and had it diagnosed they say it needs a purge valve and the part is on back order. I picked up the car and they said they would call me when the part comes in. It has now been over a month and I call to see if they forgot about me and the said no the part is still not in. When I asked when it would be in they said they do not have this information. Does this sound like mazda policy or do I need to find a new dealer. Over a month with no plan on a brand new car where I work would never fly. The car does seem to run fine but I am tired of looking at the light. Thanks

Yes Toyofixr, there are a few here that I know of, one is BENFOLIO.

I am not sure if they are the same part number or not, but there are some problems with the purge and swirl valves on some of the other Mazda models out there too, so it could be a part that is in high demand?(nuts)

I am curious if you reset the DTC, will the code reappear?(huh)

Yep I reset it and it came back on. Then it went off by itself. Then it came back on. Now its on. I dont like it on. I know I am picky
