ok this is the issue i am getting a millenia s uber cheap in amazing condition...only problem is that the guy i am getting it from said the motor is seized....but i guess he drove to the end of his driveway and it stalled and wouldnt start or even crank. does anyone kno if this could be a sensor of some sort by chance? i havent physicly been there to look at the car but ive seen pix and plan on buying it reguardless of it being seized or not. it just seems kind f odd for it to drive fine up until a week ago and the stall and not crank.

any help is appreciated greatly

This may or may not help...

Like you, I also bought a Milli that would not start. Mine is a 95 2.3l with supercharger. The car looked well taken care of and had 99k on it. The guy said he had some exhaust work done on it one day, and as he was driving it home it acted like it ran out of gas, and wouldnt start again.

I took my chances and bought it... had 2 separate very (or so I thought) good mechanics run through it with the same prognosis from both... the engine is bad (this conclusion came due to the low compression they were getting when running tests). I had a very hard time accepting this even after I got same answer from not one but two mechanics... so I waited. I was finally able to get in touch with my regular go to mechanic and was glad I waited on buying a new engine.

I asked him what else could cause low compression besides engine being bad and he said, it could have jumped timing. 3 hours later with a new timing belt on and timed correctly, and my car started up and purred like a kitten.

Hopefully your problem will be something as simple and cost effective as mine was.

Thought I would share cuz the timing is so different on these Millenias that they often get set wrong and sometimes do tend to jump time. Its worth a peek to see anyways.'
Good Luck!
