Yes, i've searched + looked at the posts on the 'how to' section but it didn't address my specific Q & i'm hoping there's an electrical wizard among you. i have a 2007 MS3 GT, w/ the factory hid. i want to be able to run the fogs independently [right now you must have the low beams on to run the fogs].
i'm willing to take the car to an electrical car specialist, want i need to know is: what is the color of the fog lights wire so that the shop will know what wire to work with. hopefully they can tap it into the fuse box or hard wire it so that i'll be in charge of the fogs, not the factory. i've already substituted the standard fog bulbs w/ some nice 5000 range hid-look ones that glow a bit purplish. i want to use them esp when i drive to work in the morn, low beams are overkill since sunlight is already diffused.
