Had been looking at a few MS6's.. found one in IN and one in cleveland... but my buddy is buying MY car on tuesday, so I cant really mess around, I needed to get a car quick like.

2 days ago, I got my daily autotrader update saying a cosmic blue Sport model was up for sale at a local dealer for 15995 internet price.

Today marked my belated birthday mini vacation, going to cincinnati to see the reds game and stay overnight.. so decided to go check out the Speed3 before we left.

Test drove it, liked it a lot.. I was sad it didnt have moonroof and intelligent key but what are ya gonna do. It did get new tires at the dealership, some goodyear all seasons.. meh. But at least theyre new.

Sat down and told the guy what I wanted.
Already financed thru my CU at 4.24%, offered them 13,500 out the door financed plus 1500 down.. they laughed, I knew they would.
Back and forth a couple of times.. ended up at 15,200 out the door.

Feel like I did okay.. maybe I coulda done better going thru private party, but it was just such a hassle and I need to get my boy his new car this coming week, plus going out of town for the weekend.

Ill get some pics uploaded soon.. for now, just imagine a blue MS3..lol

One question, will 16" rims fit on it? I have 16" winter tires that I could get some rims for and make my life a lot better.

Congrats! Be sure to hang out in the Ohio section on here. A lot happens in the Cinci-Toledo-Akron-Columbus areas if you are ever in one of those spots.

Nice deal on the CU, about what mine gave me. I paid just under 16,000 out the door--2,000 down, financed about 14,000-- on a 2008 Sport with 45,000 miles. I am now at 57,000 miles 9 months later with no real issues....I hope....

The MS3 is said to not be able to have a moonroof because it needs the reinforced structural support because it is so badass compared to the MS6 (haha). The intelligent key is sweet though, and the AWD (even though it is sort of unreliable I've heard) would be great for Ohio winters.

16 inchers are hit and miss on if they clear the calipers. Do a test fit and make sure... the MS3 and winter tires go together like PB and J. Enjoy your new ride, and can't wait for pics!

HAHAHAHA Man.. one of my familys greatest stories...

When my mom was pregnant with me, she kept telling my sister (10 years older than me), that she was going to name me Mortimer Snerd.. She would cry and wail about how horrible that was... hahahaha

Anyhow, it has 48k on it now, and seems like its pretty standard options for a sport, dont see anything extra on it, though Im not as versed on the 3 as I am the 6.

I have a set of 16" winter TIRES, just need to figure out the wheels.. maybe the 16s off of a regular 3 would fit??

Welcome to the forums and the Mazda family. Where in the Columbus area are you? Honk at me if you see me around and make sure to check out the OH section of the forum.
