Protege5 to msp headlight swap

I want to swap my headlights for MSP headlights.

I don't care to black out my stock ones, because if I make an error it'll bother me even if its not visible.

If I bought MSP headlights and MSP HID kit (ballast's, sockets, bulbs)

For one the sockets would match the headlights

Two, the bulbs would be converted to one

OK my question is now, would I still need to do any re wiring to make the MSP ballast work on my Protg5?


This could be entirely stupid, but if anyone had done or attempted to do this feel free to chime in.

You will need to re-wire if you have a low/hi beam set of HIDs. If not, I don't think you'll need to alter the wiring. You will need to wire a corner light (or duct tape the corner light shut).
