Protege5 on normal Protege

for the most part, as long as it is the 2.0 litre, but i dont think the lx is a 2.0

edit: i thought he was reffering to cosmetic mods. i didnt see it was in the performance section

from 2002 and up, the protege line all shared one engine. it didn't matter if you were a dx, lx, es, or p5... hell, even the mp3 had the same engine but a different computer. any part you find for a p5 short suspension and exhaust pieces will fit.

Suspension fits, except for a rear strut tower bar. And exhaust will not.

suspension fits, but won't work properly. that's why eibach has two different sets, one for the sedan and one for the wagon. if you look at matty's p5 on mp3 springs, the rears tuck real nice (cause the p5's rear end is heavier) and the front looks like it's stock.

This is a common mis-conception...The rear end of the MP3 sits lower than the seadn, and about the same height (slightly lower) as the Protege 5. The front was slightly lower than the stock Protege and Protege 5.
