I have an 03 mazda protege es and I really like the look of the circle fog lights compared to the little triangle/squared look of the ones I have. If anyone has a used bumper in really good condition or a brand new one they are willing to sell send me pictures and I'll make an offer. (THE BUMPER NEEDS TO HAVE THE FOG LIGHTS WITH IT)

yeah thats gonna be a little dificult to find bumper with fogs unless someone is parting out. and even at that they go quick. i know theres one on ebay for 260 shipped but its in need of some paint and alittle work.

Just an fyi the protege 5 mp3 and msp( except 03.5) bumpers are the same iirc the msp and mp3 are made of urethane not sure if the p5 is fiberglass or urethane though

yes sir.. u just have to get the grill and cut ur bumper suport up alittle and done... and u mite wanna get some splash sheilds later on from a mp3/p5/or msp but other than that its easy... s*** i have a 99 protege and had to change everything for mine.. fenders, hood, grill, splash sheilds, grill, headlights had to hit in acouple things and cut my bumper support lol so urs is really EASY!!!

yeah im on a few other mazda forums and this is the one im on more than anything. i just use the others to look for parts and the ocassional help here and there but the knowledge base on here is excellent.
totally agree and I plan on posting pictures of my car here soon. I do have another issue I am facing with my protege but am not sure where to post it. My sunroof opens and closes really slowly and when I compared it to an 02 protege the 02 sunroof opened twice as fast as mine. what gives?

well mine was doing that too its more than likely out of lubrication. I just bought a can of white lithium grease and sprayed it in there on the sliders and problem solved. I thought my motor was going out or something it would squeek sometimes too when opening and closing it but as soon as i lubricated it it was fixed. so give it a try you can get some from pretty much any autoparts store even a hardware store.

Do the windows open up fine if not could be an alt or battery issue. If they're fine you could also have a bad connection somewhere. But try lubing it first. And yes there is a rediculous amount of information on here

thanks for that info brandon cuz mine takes bout 30 secs to close and somtimes it dont even close it will stay open a crack
