So isn’t this solenoid that the map connects to go to something? I have a code p0106 and I did some research but realized when I popped the hood that the solenoid on the other side is just wide open. Have been lerking around on this forum for 2 weeks now since I got the car and I know yall are pretty knowledgeable about these cars.
(Update) i found my cruise control wasnt connected to the top of the manifold and I connected the line that was ontop (coming from the underside of manifold) to the nipple facing the engine on the solenoid. Still getting same code but have noticed it running better between 45-60mph. Actually holds the speed a little bit better. Cant find any vac diagrams.
Also the line i connected had suction and i noticed car didnt like if i put my finger over it or the other hole on the solenoid once it was connected.
