20020 Mazda Protege5
Hi everyone, new to the forum.
I have proudly owned my 2002 Protege5 for 10 years and nearly 115000 miles.

Drove home from work, woke up the next morning, and she wouldn't start. Lights, gauges, radio, starter, all work fine, and the engine turns when engaging the starter, but it does not fire and run.

So far, I have replaced the engine and fuel pump relays in the fuse box, installed new ignition coils, cables, battery cable, and new spark plugs.
Checked all the fuses under the hood and under the dashboard, all are working.
Song remains the same, she turns, but will not start.

Something to note -> When the key is in the ignition on the 'on' position, my temperature gauge goes to the max. I am not sure what this signifies, and was hoping that the members of the mazda247 forum would help.

Has anyone experienced something similar? If so, what was the problem and how was it fixed?
