Protege Wish List (Vendors click here)

Thanks for the info Lurch-- as someone that is going all N/A that really gives me more hope. Since I haven't had that type of work done before, what kind of $$ should I expect to spend of having the throttlebody, intake manifold, and heads machined? I assume with the t-body you are talking about boring and honing- and the intake getting higher flow-

Dunno if anyone has asked for these yet ( didn't feel like reading through 7 pages) but clears for our bumper! and no not the celica ones or any others that need to be modified to fit

I WANT a rear lip spoiler for my MSP...I have started a thread to this, but not much help.

Anyone want to fab some up a la 2001+M3

Heres what we really need...Are engines are plenty strong do doubt. What is need are some strong low and high compression heads and reinforced rods are with a stronger ring as soon as we have this running higher boost and or NOS well be so much roe possible without a doubt.

MMMM, let me think

Cam gears
upgraded igntion system ( like MSD)
Supercharger
Big brake upgrade
up graded ECU
All for the 2.0 in the P5

Cam gears are out already...I think Spool is working on the ignition.

No supercharger as of yet, big brakes are available for the front, and what do you mean upgraded ECU?

Who does the brake kit? By upgraded ECU , most cars ECU needs to be upgraded( reprogramed) to handle mods. Boost, NOS, larger MAF, injectors Ect.

wilwood,k stop tech, rr racing and ion performance all have big brake kits for the protege..

You can just get a piggyback instead of a "chip". MPI has one out right now, there doing a group buy on it as we speak. Also, I thing turboge might be coming out with one.

Let's see:

- Angle eyes
-FCD
-RPM limiter cut for autos
-upgraded fuel rail
-Stand alone ECU mangament like: Greddy or AEM
-MSD ignition management
-ACL
-Upgraded Intake Manifold
-Better cam gears
-Supercharger
-Racing Oversized valve springs
-Racing Oversized exhaust valves
-Titanium retainers

if only the fuel rail didn't have the little type R ish R :(

Im going to call up essential speed monday about that intake manifold. Just wish they had pictures up.

yeah, I wish they had pics up as well- but still, with the exchange rate, it'll run yah less than the j-spec manifold from corksport- I haven't seen anybody post results from these guys either...

An afordable Supercharger for the 2.0 P5 that is primarily a bolt on system (i.e. I shouldn't have to change my hood or rebuild the bottom end to handle the extra HP).

there are quite a few with that kit on- very good success with it too from what I've seen. You might want to do a search in the forced induction section.
