Protege club problems with moderators

Had anyone else had a problem with a moderator from Protege club.com? Are the moderators this bad on this forum?

The tactics used used by moderators to ridicule people when they were answering a question asked on a thread is terrible. Then an automatic IP banning really torqued me. I answered a thread in which someone else in AZ had the same IP and I was automatically accused of being that person and banned after I stuck up for this type of BS. I flipped the tables on them and they decided to ban 6 IP's while I was trying to tell my side of how two people can have the same IP address. That has a potential of blocking 30+thousand users from going to thier site.
Sorry I am just venting as I was backing up what a new user said and I was banned because of it. I think you have a few of the moderators here on this site as well as just users.
The knowledge base seems to be only from a few users on protege club.com and they know all their. regardless of what anyone else knows.
Anyone have this same type of problem?

All the moderators on this post are fantastic. Come on over and "set a spell." Pretty much everyone here is great. I hope this wasnt a post to start a flame, though. If not, we'd love to have you!(thumb)

The attitudes on this site are much more calm. Some of us have our moody days,(including me), but all in all, we know our limits, shen we know we are really offending someone, we shut up and let it go. But as for the moderators, none of the mods on this site are agressive like that on the Proclub site. The moderators are the main ones with the problems on that site. Most of the members are ok, it's just the mods. (excluding sirnuke, go harlem is ok too even though he and I argue on occasion)

From what I've read here up to now, people are really friendly and rarely insult each other. There is just a great general attitude on this board.

I do have to say this board is great with a lot of friendly people on it. I've been here for awhile, and I really don't post much but, everyone I've chatted with seem to be great, down-to-earth people! Even the moderators are great here! No complaints from me that's for sure. This board Kicks ASS!!!

I find the attitude much better round these parts, so i'm stickin to this forum

Yeah I will agree, I signed on both boards believe I posted on the other board like twice. I barely go over there(every now and then). People hear are calmer and are very willing to help as long as you dont act irrational or ignorant. This is the only board I post on constantly.

Same here,
I was a member of proclub first then I was bashed by one of there mods. That was a year ago.....I have never visited there since. And now I am a mod here. Everybody is just so much more helpful and friendly. Especially all of the mods and our admins (enry and antoine) are the best!!!

as far as i have been here, i've only known our guys of ip banning one person. LT1Power. that guy was a freak and all he did was harrass us. our moderators are great people, thats why i love this site and its my start up page. welcome aboard!

I accually signed on here 1st, and 2 mo later, signed up at Pclub. I remember having a run-in with a couple of mods over there and decided to stay over here more. I am not a mod on the F/I forum, and am happy to say that this site is great! Folks are willing to help out, and not bash you everytime you have a question. There was a post the other day over there which I am sure you are aware of that got deleted...It was complaining about the mods. I posted about this site here, and maybe they should give it a try, and it got deleted! I come back later after I posted about my post being deleted, and the thread was gone! I only venture over there when I have the time to spend. There are a couple of mods over there who are generally cool. TheMan can seem moody at time, once yo get to know him, he has hookups, and knowledge (not necessarily in that order). SirNuke and GroHarlem are the others I can think of. Yall keep up the good work!

Hey Dude....if I remember correctly...you actually had something nice to say about me....and I appreciate it. Thanks....yes I am one of the Mods over there...but this is also my home too.....just like a family....I don't necessarilary get along with everyone...not here...and not there either....but I am pretty laid back..and easy to get along with.....some are not. Sorry you had a bad experience......just chalk it up to bad luck and make yourself at home here. That whole mess over there was an unfortunate experience that you, UNFORTUNATELY got caught in the middle of....and only because of the IP....as I said....don't give it a second thought...blow it off....AND NOW....OFFICIALLY!!!

It's been fun seeing our community grow like it has. I've posted on ProtegeClub a few times and go back there every now and then for a few good laughs. I've had run ins with a few members over there who their panties all in a bunch when I corrected them after they spread a bit of mis information.
