Hey guys am new to the speed3 and so far the only thing i have done to it is FMIC (corksport), installed myself and let me tell you 6 crazy hours LOL . . . anyways am not that great with electronical parts and i was wondering if anyone has steps to installing a prosport boost gauge on a speed3 '08 . . . would greatly appreciate it and if there is a post already on this, please point me to the right way :)

I found this old thread that should help get you started. I've had my prosport in for about 2 years now, I can help if you have some specific questions. Thats cool you put a FMIC on, I think you can definitely handle this project!

The thread linked at the bottom of this thread is the one I used to basically install mine.

ok so i have the prosport boost gauge and i was able to rig it to my dimmer lights which also have the headlights wire there, but i want my gauge to turn on when ignition is on but the only way i can do that is if i mess around with the fuse box and idk how to connect the wire to the fuse box. Can i just put the wire in between the fuse 15 or would that be dangerous? Please help, would greatly appreciate it! (2thumbs)

You will have to tap the fusebox under the glovebox on the right side. Buy an 'Add-A-Circuit' from Radio shack or similar electronics store. You will likely need extra length of wire to reach the fuse location. Tap Fuse 43(cigarette lighter) for accessory power.

I would be interested in how you connected your prosport gauge to the dimmer.

Ok when you take off the plastic where the hood release is at and under the steering wheel, behind the dimmer there will be a small box, i dont remember exactly what color it is but its the box connected directly to the dimmer. Now, you do need a tester so you can see which one of those small ports have current when you turn on your headlight switch (i do believe its a white wire). So when you find it you rig the red and white wire from the prosport to that headlight wire. With this my white light on the prosport lights up only with my headlights. Now I want to do is rig the red wire to the fuse 43 so my boost gauge lights up red when car is on. People rather have red on at night, but i found it to be better looking red at day and white at night ;-)

Every wire you need is easily accessible in the radio harness. There is a sticky for the wiring diagram. That's how I did it. Cake and pie.

omg so right!!! did it through my radio harness and way easier then doing it through the fuse box -_- thanks everyone!!!!(mj)
