Prosport boost gauge problems

I installed my Prosport electronic boost gauge this past summer and it has worked like a charm ever since. Until now.

Ever since a bad rain storm last week, the boost gauge will now randomly stay at one number and not move, regardless of throttle position. Then, the next time I look at it, it's at a different number. For instance, it'll be holding steady at 15 PSI for ten seconds, then the next time I look at it, it'll be at exactly 0 PSI for fifteen seconds. Again, the throttle position has no effect on the gauge reading.

I've checked the vacuum lines and everything looks fine. Could the rain have wrecked the electronic sensor?

Jay Prosport had a big problem with the senders on their boost guages. I am on my 3rd replacement sender. The shop I purchased my boost guage thru has replacement senders in stock due to this issue... Luckily there was no charge for the replacements...

good to know what i'm getting into. i asked for a prosport gauge for christmas from my non-car people in-laws.

I've had mine installed for at least a year now (I'd have to check my notes to be sure) with no problems whatsoever. It is fairly accurate too, I check it occasionally against the Dashhawk and it is always close (considering the permissible accuracy of analog vs digital).

Update:

I spoke to Prosport and they sent me an RMA form. I finally had some time to remove the sensor from the engine compartment this evening so I could mail it off, and there is definitely some corrosion damage.

Any recommendations on where to mount the sensor where it won't get wet? I'm thinking about running the tubing into the passenger compartment and just mounting it in there.
