Hey what's up? Next up is suspension upgrades in the spring (struts, RB sway bar kit, and either Eibach Pro-kit or Tein S-tech springs). I also will need a new set of Nittos and tuner lugs.

I checked out the pics (and thanks for the link) and you're right...it would look ALOT better. I'm trying to do some other stuff too (amp racks, rims/tires, etc.) and I just can't see spendin' $1500 at one time on the kit...

The bonus to that is you get everything brand new at once, with all the hardware. I got extremely lucky and found most of my parts in one sale on Ebay. I haven't seen another kit on there yet. And I still needed some other parts. So take $660 for the kit plus these parts (and $130 for misc nuts, bolts, fasteners and the upper grill) and $1500 isn't that far off from me.

Oh and be careful which bumper reinforcement you get. I noticed on onlinemazdaparts that they had two reinforcements, one specifically for the speed and one for the protege5. The MSP one was twice as much, but the P5 one fits the same.

are there two rear lips, one that was on the mp3 and one that was on the MSP?
My car is about two hours away from me while im at school, so once i get a chance to go home and take some pics ill do that.

Yep, Mazda used the one lip a lot (MP3, 03 MSP) and over in Europe I believe it fits the 323f too. Mazda made a different one for the 03.5 MSP, the one I have.

You can't mount the P5/MSP fog lights from Mazda with the 03.5 front lip attached, but you can buy some smaller ones. If you're lucky you can find some G3 brackets, they were made for the 03.5 lip by a previous user here:

well when drilling the holes i used pressure, this pressure caused the outer part of the hole to semi cave in. (doesn't sit flush) basically it's like this ) SO, i gotta find a way to pry the thing back out...i did this on every hole

It's the same bumper cover as the 03, just with the lip attached.

The MP3 looked the same as the 03 MSP, they all used the same bumper cover though.

It has the same bumper cover as the 03.5, but has the foglights instead of the 03.5 lip.

Yeah, that's the route I'm gonna go...more than likely the dealer will be selling the fog lights for about 200 per.

Damn wrong answer... I 'm looking for a black mica protege to swap my cf hood for there OEM. My CF Hood is faded and needs some loving and I'm thinking bout selling my car so I want it to look the best with the least amount of money.
