PROGRESSIVE 22mm bar or AXR Clunk Brackets

So mine started to squeak and clunk so I looked around and my conclusion is either Progressive 22mm bar or AXR Clunk Bracket on the stock bar.

My understanding is that Progressive 22mm bar would be much better choice.

But anyone can shed some light in this matter (bow)

IIRC, the Progress bar will require you to get new endlinks as the stock MSP rear endlinks are longer to accomodate the different swaybar design. Personally, I would stick with the stock bar an the Evolv brackets. I doubt you'd see much improvement with the Progress bar anyway.

well i read somewhere in an aussie company web that moving from 20 to 22 gives about 47% better handling

well the question is about the bar or the bracket bc the endlinks are things that can be solved very easy no problem with endlinks .

He owns a MSP. They have a completely difference rear swaybar which is a different design than the sedan/P5 rear swaybar. Because of this the MSPs have longer rear endlinks to accomodate for the different design. The Progress bar is the same design as the sedan/P5 bar - just beefier. I also have read that for the best performance the ends of the bar need to be as close to parallel to the ground as possible. I know for a fact this is not possible with the Progress bar as the control arms get in the way.

well i could get the p5/protege rear end links or awr and that would solve that section but

as far as performance for the $$ would it be better to upgrade to 22mm bar or
get the axr clunk fixt bracket ??

I doubt the bracket does more then just getting rid of the noise/clunking
since the bushing are moved to the edges of the bar , bar could arch in the middle when its in stress , right ??

any one that has experience could give some "profs"

the progress bar is 22mm, its huge. it gave a huge difference in handling for my car, but i have a p5. i thought the mazdaspeed came with the racing beat sway bars? idk how much better a progress is. the progress is probably bigger, but idk of how much, so it might not be worth getting it.

the clunk fix is a sure thing though.....

i'd say neutral handling since i don't auto-x
but i've read somewhere that moving from 20mm that msp has to 22 like progressive it gives about 48% better handling and i'd get bigger bushing so it hold better imo.

48% better handling? who comes up with these numbers? 48% more inclined towards oversteer? pretty sure if a single bar could produce 48% better handling companies that sell suspension parts would only offer these magic bars..

bushings are installed and at the same time provide better handling in
general???

nope, I too am haunted by the rear clunk and squeaking. I dont have the finances to fix the problem any time soon. After replacing the bushings for the 10th time I just took off the bar entirely for a few months. Now I put in my 11th set of bushings (I am at 138,xxxkms now) and she seems to have settled down for now. Ive tried every version of the rear bushings for the stock bar and they all suck.

If I were you I would just get the axr brackets and be done with it. That way you keep the neutral handling. Thats the "highlight" of the msp for me.

yea I was thinking of that I am currently going back and forth with both
setups.... that clunk fix thing looks ugly and looks like it get rusty fast imo!!

just spray some krown rust proofing on her or even just oil or grease and im sure that would help with the rusting. You could also get the axr coated prior to install with various chemicals to resist the rusting.
