Well after all the problems I had with the CPE downpipe with cat causing my car to let off "more noticable" smoke into the atmosphire and set off my check engine light,

today im driving on the highway. I never beat on the car, never launch, or anything. As soon as I get off the highway I hear a clanking sound coming from the left rear tire. At first I thought it was the heat shield for the rotors, but after I went under the car to investigate, the axle was making the sound and moving around in the differential like it was broken. Here are some pics.

feel free to give me some advice because im just about fed up with this car. Way to many problems for owning it only 3 months.

looks like the cv boot broke from some reason. How much can the axle move in and out of the dif? Take off your DP and take it to the dealership they should fix it.

stop crying and go to the dealer and get it repaired for free

you wanna replace my downpipe, and CAI? This car was built weak...every week theres something else wrong with it.

like the last guy said..... your CV boot is broken......for whatever reason god knows... perhaps you hit a bad dip in the road and the car hit the ground with suspension travel?

it's not hard to replace the down pipe and the CAI man.... all you need are tools a jack and some elbow grease (that means motivation to remove the bolts and screw the stock parts back in) and make sure once you reinstall the stock parts turn the car on drive it around the block, bring it back home turn it off remove the positive from the battery for about 2 minutes, put it back in and drive it around the block again :D

Seems to me we may have a "Driver Related" issue here.

Slow down, drive right and things will quit breaking. mark my words.(alright)

^^^^ Don't mind Mr. Negative, it just seems like you got that one bad apple. Cause personally I Auto-X mine just about every other weekend and (knocking on wood) I haven't had any problems. I usually drive pretty agressively on my normal daily commute also (almost all twisty and winding back roads).

Re:

I love my mazdaSpeed6. I have had mazda cars since 1995 and they are awesome cars. As for CPE I have not found a better company then them. The parts are made with the best material available and the craftsmenship of the welds are great. The Customer Services( Josh,Jordan, and Anthony)Kicks ass. I would recommend them to anyone that wants quality and performence parts. You probably got the one bad apple of the bunch. s*** Happens. If problems persits maybe you can qualify for the Lemon Law.(boom08)

I dont 1/4 mile this car, i dont autox, and i certainly dont beat on it on the street. Many people on this board do beat there ms6 on the street w/o any problem occuring

sounds like you got a bad apple from the bunch.......how many repairs have you had done under warranty? and how many is the "minimum" to have performed before you claim no lemon law?
