Hi there,

Just letting you guys know that I am getting a CAI made from PRM racing. He has won awards at the Sema show 2 years ago for his intake design. I had this intake on my last protege, it rocked. It's actually called a velocity stack. It increases the speed of the air going in therefore having codler air for your engine.

It really worked well lat time. All the pipes are mandrel bent stainless. He si doign the custom job on my car and then he is going to sell it publicly for about $380 CDN.

Here is a pic of it on an impreza it will look very similar.

that looks badass...if it can deliver the same performance as the other intakes i want one.

The price is about $240 US. It will go into the front wheel well just like the injen one. but you dont' ahve to take off your front bumper to installor clean the filter and it is way cheaper.

That black thing on their, that's the actually filter. There are a few screws on there that you take off and then you just use a K&N filter cleaner kit. Muhc easier then the injen which require you to take off your fron bumper to clean it... blah...

I haven't seen anyone post numbers!! so how can you compare apples to apples?

Jc...

i'm not comparing anything to anything.

what i meant was if the PRM intake can at least claim the kind of gains that the other kinds claim then i'm all for buying one. i love the way it looks so i was just gonna wait and see what you thought of how it sounds and feels after the install.

and just so you know MP3Ben dynoed his car with the MPH CAI and it showed a ~4 hp gain to the wheels...its in the tech forum.
