Anyone have any experience with Premier Autowerks on Capital Hill? I've been trying to find someone to install my Spool Springs, and was going to go with them, but they 1) didn't return my email and 2) didn't show up today when I had scheduled time to drop off the car. Starting to wonder if they're sketchy or something.

Any other ideas about where to go in the area?

And no, I can't do it myself. No space.

Just go to Les Schwab. They'll do it.

I wouldn't deal with the other place, sounds too shady.

have you thought about doing it yourself? if youve got a free saturday and can rent spring compressers from a local autozone, its really not difficult with some help.

Just call Les Schwab, but the dude said they don't install stuff from outside. Odd. Guess it's an insurance/liability thing?

But talked to Tru-Line Frame and Wheel. They asked if it was for street or track use and even how much I weigh. These guys are pros, recommended by a couple motorhead co-workers.

No more shady shop for me.

how much does it cost to have springs installed?
The shady shop said it'd take 2-2.5 hours with a shop rate of $75/hour.

Yeah, I'd like to do it myself, but living in an inner-city apartment, no space to do anything to my car. Sucks goats. Hoping to buy a house in a few months. Hmmm, maybe some of my friends would be willing to loan me some driveway space for a day...

yea, thats what i did. drove about 40 minutes to my buddys house with a garage, because it was like 30 degrees out at the time and i wasnt about to try to work totally outside. you have no clue what the wind is like in oklahoma.

Wow, I can't imagine doing that in that kind of weather. It's supposed to be 85 here this weekend... good for doing car s***.

$150- $200 damn i would almost drive to seattle and install your springs in the street for that kind of cash. (almost):D
