power loss at 4000 rpms

my car looses all power at 4000ish rpms if i have it 3/4 throttle or more. i live in WI and have an injen intake and a FMIC could this be related???? thanks

FUNNY - mine just began doing the same thing last night, and this is not the "hesitation" problem we've all harped about before.

If your ECU was never "flashed" by the dealer, this is a known problem and can be remedied BUT....

My ECU was flashed about a year ago and the car ran beautifully (stock, but beautifully) until last night. I had taken a 400 mile roadtrip, followed the next morning by a 1/2 mile "commute", and after work a 5 mile run. On the 5 mile run, fully warmed, I had the opportunity to get into the throttle. The car pulled normally to ~ 3500RPM and hit a huge wall of "bog". Backing out of the throttle brought power back. The bog was worse than the "hesitation" experienced earlier in the car's life.

I have a dealer appointment next week...

My check engine light is on as well Is this related? reads to rich at autozone... I am going to turn the boost down for now.....undefinedundefined

mine has had an engine light come on and go off since i bought it. reads "too lean". it comes on after i let it idle for long periods of time. goes off while driving. everything is stock on it. i have autometer carbon fiber a/f and boost guages, double a-pillar.

the A/f bounces around like a kid playing with a ball. never consistent until i step on it. i tried a new o2 sensor, no dice. dealership blames it on my guages, even though i have proof it started before i installed them. mazdaspeed and mazda reps said no way no how. so i got shafted for $160 for the sensor, and then got no where. still comes on.

Fuel cut at stock boost on a car that's just warmed up (4 miles into a 5 mile trip)? It was cold, but not that cold (maybe 35-40 degrees F).

Makes sense, as that's what it felt like, but I'd never experienced it before and I've done some pretty extensive winter driving in the MSP. Odd.
