M Mike R Member Contributor Aug 17, 2003 #21 My car does it, bone stock. Seems like every dyno I've seen for a protege (and miata) has a dip between 3-4K. The flyin protege site has some dynos and it's really obvious.(dunno) Gotta be something with the engine control.
