i'm a lazy bastard and have yet to call either place, but today i promise to let you guys all know how much both places charge. i was thinking about coating then a gun metal finish. what do you people think? give me some suggestions.......white is out of the question though.

Yeah, go gunmetal or that "gold" colour (similar to WRX/STi's with the BBS wheels).
I remember Lo-ko quoting me something like $50-$75 a wheel (which honestly isn't too bad); they'd do all the sandblasting with plastic media pellets to avoid any warping/damage to the wheel. Lead time was like a week for a set of 4.
Plus they're close/local....good to support local shops...
FIXRIM in arlington heights is $109 a rim. tons of colors and it's done overnight. LO-KO is $75 a rim and is finished with a high gloss.

hMmm that's pricey. people have said they got their's done for around $40~$50 a rim. But who knows.. the places you've asked could probably have better quality.
