they are on ridiculous closeout sale price for this size... 225/50/r16 50 dollars a tire. Any one have experience with these tires? what is the tread wear like. i know the performance is good.
I ordered a set and they got here today. Never ran them before but from a good auto-x buddy I hear they are the best set you can get for auto-x/track days. He also told me that wet weather grip is limited. Still for that price its an amazing deal even if the tires are just ok.
Just be aware that those are for a 16" wheel, not the 18" stock wheels. I'm guessing you either selected the wrong tire, or are aware and have a set of 16" wheels.

Most FD's ar 16 lbs. I had a set on my 97 Probe GT. Only the first 6 months of the 93 FD's were 13.8 lbs and were prone to cracking. The 13lb rims are rare and I would not run them on our car as it is heavier than the FD 7's.
