Mine would have to be Orbital - Halcyon on + on, from the Mortal Kombat soundtrack. It is one of the most calming, amazing songs I've ever had the pleasure to hear. I typically listen to bands like Tool, Mushroomhead, Corporate Avenger, Flaw, Breaking Benjamin, and just about everything else that is hard. Everytime I hear this song my day seems better. Man, I go off subject way to much sometimes, lol.

Hum. I can think of a few:
lets see:
prodigy's breathe; old but it will always be a favorite of mine
and a couple I cant think of the names right now. ill ask my bro.

Nice sig btw

Thanks, I have to say, the Mortal Kombat soundtrack is amazing. I popped it in and started to listen to it again. There are some really amazing songs on it.

DJ Dis B John

the list goes on and on....

Unforgiven- Metallica
Fade to black-Metallica
5 minutes alone-Pantera
a few more from other music categories but too tired to remember

My brother loves Glassjaw. I think I only like cosmopolitan blood loss. :-/
good song, but definitely not their best...

it seems to take a while for most people to warm up to their style. i had their album for about a year before i actually started to like it. they're such a talented band though, and every song is so completely different. best. band. ever.

if you haven't listened to much of them, give it a few more tries...and worship and tribute is definitely a lil more mellow than everything you ever wanted to know about silence.

Well, I have both cds, just haven't had them grow on me like other EMO bands. Finch is sweet. :) But I do know what you're saying. There is a band called Dredg that I like alot. At first I thought the singers voice was gonna make me kill myself, but after listen for a while, I realize how great the lyrics are and how artist the songs are.

Engine room. :)

Anywho...

Death Cab For Cutie - Passenger Seat
WOW, i didn't think anyone else except me listens to deathcab while in the car. I listen to their Transatlanticism CD in my car whenever i'm done skating, work, or stuck in traffic. Soo mellow, i like it.

Usually, i got some punk/screamo music playing. Stuff like Senses Fail, Finch, Story of the Year, Funeral for a Friend, Thursday, Norma Jean, and Saosin. The one Saosin song, I can Tell.....gets me hyper all the time, and i can listen to it over and over.

For the more mellow music, i usually play some acoustic/emo i suppose. Stuff like Blonde Redhead, Postal Service, Deathcab, and Mae.

Wow, did you go to see Dredg at some club called Howlin' Wolf in New Orleans? I drove to New Orleans (about an hour away from my house) to see that show, but you had to be 18 to get in and my friend with me was only like 17, so we just screwed around Bourbon Street. :) But as for the engine room, I think it was sparta, but that doesn't sound right.

Whoops, I was wrong. Dredg was playing at the Shim Sham Club. Strata, Codeseven and S.T.U.N. opened for them. It was the same line-up when they played at the Engine Room.
