Seems like a reasonable statement to me.
Making a FENDER a contrasting color / texture / pattern doesn't really make a ton of sense visually - fenders and doors generally make up a continuous "mass" or body line, and just arbitrarily chopping that into segments is a bit of a head-scratcher.
I can stomach it on a hood / trunk / roof as those align with the greenhouse and as such can look like a separate material sandwiched in between body colored sides (if done right.)
Same with a lip kit - it just makes it look more of a separate element.
I get that it's supposed to be something different / unexpected. Just be prepared for a lot of confusion as a result (IE: why???)

In one thread my bumper is "weird", in this thread my wheels are not as good and another thread that has been dead for over two weeks and a model is posted right after I post a pick of my car. All from the same member and all in the same day. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. I'm new here so mods are welcome to ban me but I smell some douche baggery. Or maybe it's all just a coincidence.

No way...love my bronze WORK wheels. While at shows that's one of the first thing people notice and say, "love those wheels".
