okay okay...
I just hate it when people aren't anything but welcoming and nice to new people, no matter what their taste is. I understand joking with people if you 'know' them (hence my jihad on those who are disgusting enough to remove their stock MSP wing
), but sometimes a comment can come across rude such as "lambo doors? really?" indicating that you're questioning that individual's taste...

Imho, yes... What I like best about our cars and their owners is that we have become so good at changing things to personalize them without ruining the overall dynamic and without getting "ricer". For example, I love my Corksport eyelids though its clear others don't. Also I have an '03 rear lip on my 03.5 because I like its lines better and like the way it enhances my Vibrant exhaust, although I still have the 03.5 lip too, so I can change it back when I choose to.
Some of the more subtle changes; the ones casual observers might not notice, are the ones I like best... Like modifying fog lights, or replacing stock headlights with canadian P5's, etc... Or subtle suspension changes, shimming out stock rims or semi-stock (like Miata rims) with spacers; little changes that set the car apart that only aficianados would even notice, let alone have strong opinions about.
