Sorry, Buddy. I like P5's in general but you need to lose the front plate. Install it in the windshield.
also, I don't feel the lighting is right for a red P5 w/an OEM style CF hood.
We have someone in our local group w/this same set-up and I almost wish I had a red P5 whenever I see his. It's beautiful, as I'm sure yours is too. But this pic just doesn't do it justice.
Sorry, Man. just my .02.

Actually,I wasn't expecting the shot to be so dark(guess the flash wasn't on(hand) haha)but afterwards,I kinda liked it.But I do agree that the plate does ruin the shot...oh well.

Anyway,I had my plate off for a little while in the past, but I found it wasn't just a fix-it ticket if I got caught, but I would have to pay $175 bucks! So needless to say,I put it back on.Mind you cops are everywhere here in Cali.Either way,the plate has to be where it's supposed to be.

That sucks, and I'm sorry for you Cali guys. Do all those cops do anything besides give out moving violation tickets and have TV shows made about how hard they are working? (Jus' a lil' digg there. :D ) I would think in Cali they could find plenty more interesting things to do.

Like the Statie's here (D.P.S. Officers) once pulled me over for having clear licence plate covers, and tint that was legally too dark in the rear... that the dealer had installed before I ever even saw the car. I wondered then if they didn't have any bigger crime to fight... like fighting REAL crime?? (lol)
The funny thing about that was, that @ the time, my wife and I were taking a 1600 mile vacation, 3200 round trip and there was so much stuff in the hatch and back seat area, I couldn't see anything anyway!! But, that was legal. I don't know? You figure it out.
Anyway, I didn't mean to rain on your parade, and I do love how the P5's look. It's only the picture I took issue with.
I hope there are no hard feelings?

Hey, Cali guys!! A possible brainstorm.
What about sticking the plate bracket (mount) on using some industrial strength Velcro??
Then you could remove it for pictures, meets and shows.
Of course part of it would be left on the car permanently, but would be less intrusive than having the plate and bracket there.
whadoUthink? Has it been tried?
