I have a friend doing this right now. The RB26DET comes from the Skyline (R32 I belive). He has a 91 240 I believe. He is just waiting for his front clip to arrive from Malaysia. They store them over there cause it's cheaper to store there than Japan.

heres the way i look at it:

im not building anything to be unique, im building it because i want a fast RWD car that has easily obtainable parts, and yes when i lived in dallas u couldn't sneeze without seeing a SR powered 240 (some damn fast ones to).

If you really wanna try something, try doing the Skyline GTS motor?? The GTS is on a RWD platform. Then again still, there is nothin wrong with an SR20DET. However, my fav body would have to be the 180SX or the Sileighty. Then again, the S15 conversion is nice too. $$$$ though...

ha! 85 corolla gts with the black top 4a-ge 20v. turbo that. OR go 4a-gze, lose the supercharger and get a turbo. or, import a levin.

seeing as how in the next three weeks i will be withdrawing from school and moving back to dallas i will not be able to afford a project car, however i will be able to keep my mp3 on the plus side.

If i could have a project car, I want to get an 86 tureno or an 86 levin. I have a video from Option2 that had an 86 hybrid with a 20B rotory motor built into it. Peeled out at 60 mph. Great stuff. I will try to post it on the net.
