Portland meet and drive of Mazdas October 8th

Hey all. well here we go again. I am getting organized a October 8th meet and more than likely will be doing the same basic route as last time but with a couple of variations .another guy from the rx7 forum suggested to do hwy25 and Paradise rd around Mt. Saint Helens which I would be up for so we can get some Washington folks involved but he needs to test run it and I'll know more next week if that will work. just trying to drum up intrest for either at this moment and hard plans will be put in place next week.

Yeah we'll be mainly driving. I think we are going to do the coast route again with a couple of variations this time. was a blast last time even if I did some "dukes of hazzard" off road stuff. I'll post more after this weekend.

I'm going to the Seattle area thing on Sept 17th and taking the RX8 and possibly Derrick with his MP3.

Yeah, I'd like to know what kind of fuel economy improvements there may be with the Unichip in the RX-8. Probably nothing like the Proteges gained, but still. The RX-8 isn't a cool enough car to only be getting 20 on the freeway. haha

The 8 was at Unichip the other week. I don't know if the made any changes that are worth while.

Oh the mileage was about 240 or so total from beaverton to the coast and back on the last trip. we'll be adding a few more so think maybe 260 max. hope this helps.

I might be there. I have no idea what this is all about so could someone give me some basic info? What's the route, what kind of cars are involved, etcetc. Sound like fun though.

well I suck. I can't go now because work has informed me that I get (have) to go to a customer "smoozing" event that day. I am in contact with a couple of the other guys to see if the drive to the coast will still be going on. i'll let you know soon!
