hey guys, I am having a hard time decinding on getting coilovers or just springs, I want a better drop than what the eibach pro- kit offers and I am not using my car for a show car yet not for a while at least. So what I am asking is what is a better buy in the long run, which will cause me the most problems? and which is better for handling?

Hey Brennan

In my opinion the Eibachs are going to be a better "feel". You said you are not using the car for show yet. This brings 2 points.

1) You are going to spend quite a bit of money for something you will not use that often i.e raising and lowering the ride high using the coil overs adjustment option

2) By the time the car is "show ready" you may decide to go a completely different route and not even want it to be as lowered as you once did and then you have a set of expensive coil overs laying around oin the garage gathering dust.

I am going with the Eibachs because I know a lot of people who have Eibach springs on their cars and are very happy with the results in handling, appearance, and ride comfort.

Good luck in whatever you decide. I am not bashing the people who have coil-overs. They look sweet if you slam the car downt to the ground but it's just not my style.

thanks, the only problem I have with the eibachs, is I just want it a bit lower than what it gives, is there anything out there that is just a bit lower say 1.5-6

Hey Brennan just want to tell you the Ground Control coilovers use Eibach springs. I have the ground control and I love them u can drop it all the way to a full 3 inches if u want but would not advise it. I'm running 2 and half inch drop. But the skunks must be good too cause seems like all the websites I went to where out of stock. H@R 3 words too damn expensive if u want to see what Ground Control looks on the MP3 go to pictures of my ground control post of mikesmazda
