We sold my wife's 1995 Honda Passport and got the CX-7. She loves it.
We wanted to look at the RDX but it wasn't due to be released for several months. As it turns out the CX-7 was the better deal. Our's fully loaded was priced at the point where the RDX started.

So, a trend appears and it is much like Mazda has expected. Instead of moving from a car to a SUV, the CUV is a growing market. Most people have moved from a car to the CUV according to the small sampling we have. The second trend is a move from a larger SUV to the smaller CUV. Looks like Mazda did their homework.

I replaced my '06 Acura CSX with the CX-7... but I also knew my S2000 was going to have to be sold, too (which it finally did a few weeks ago, moving soon)... so knowing that I made sure whatever I went with (CX-7) was reasonably sporty and fun to drive.

im trading in my BMW 330i 2001 with 99,999 MILES for a cx7 in about 2 weeks! I need a newer daily driver! mazdaspeed6 needs to rest! since i refuse to drive the BMW over the 100K miles LOL

well i just got the CX7 black on black with navi and raer view camera!

I recently was driving a 1986 Porsche 944 with 270,000kms. Time for a change. I miss the tightness of the steering, and predictable linear response of the throttle, but in all other respects I much prefer the CX-7.

Ahhhh, new car smell.

I've clearly moved up in the car world. You folks have taste. I came to the CX-7 from a 97 mazda protege. I guess I was ready for a big jump. It's been hard for me to justify a new car as I walk to work and put on very few miles. But I decided that here on out I should love the driving I do. Suddenly I want to do more road trips.

Moved from an Audi A4 2004 3.0. I had a 2001 A4 1.8T before that.

Have a 5 year old son now and 2 dogs and needed something that I could used with the family, without using my wife's car all the time.

Also... Even though I really liked the look and driving feel of a luxury German car, I couldn't justify the price difference with the amount of driving I do.

I really like the CX-7 so far. Much better/quieter then my wife's Saab 92-X (Subaru WRX clone). Turbo engine seems better then the Subaru too. It reminds me a lot of how the Turbo felt in my A4 1.8T.

Now if someone could just come up with a chip or something to let me boost the turbo a little bit more.... that would really be cool.

1966 Mustang- Sold
1987 Z28 Camaro- Traded
1999 Civic SI- Totaled (I really miss this car )
2001 Prelude- Traded
2003 Civic EX- Traded
2007 CX7 Sport

And I am glad to say that the CX7 is my favorite out of the bunch. The only problem is trying to get the keys back from the wife after she drives it.

A silver 1998 Honda Civic! I got tired of constantly seeing myself in the rearview mirror, which is one of the reasons the Mazda is so appealing!

I love my CX-7 like crazy, but boy do I miss getting 31/40 MPG!

We traded her 2002 Mazda Millinea with 26,000 miles. It was a WONDERFUL car, but b-o-o-o-o-o-ring.

She loves the CX-7, and it gives me one more reason to love her! (kiss)
