**Please Read** Need a stock exhaust manifold.

MSP-OWNER

Member
This is the first time I have ever posted on a forum. A tech at my local Mazda dealership told me to give it a try. I am a singal father of two boys and I have a 2003.5 MSP. I dont have alot of money to spend on a new one from the dealership or to buy an aftermarket one. My stock manifold is cracked and I need to get one to replace it. This is my only transportaion to get my boys to school, doctor, etc & me to work. Was wondering if someone still had their good stock manifold they could sell me at a good price. I would be forever greatful.

Thank you.

Please send your responses to mtreft1276@live.com as I am not really sure how to use this forum.
Again Thank You.

or you can try a thunder manifold, priced reasonably 350 to 400 bucks (i think) and wont crack (v2). i think the stocker goes for something ridiculous at the stealerships (850 ive heard)

thunder mani not made anymore??? that's news to me!!
OP:
you cheapest fix might be just to get the stocker rewelded until you can come up with a more permanant solution. Its the cracked mani give you drivabilty issues??
Why did you take it in, in the first place, the problem might be something else, unless you have a huge hole in the mani.
I stopped trusting the Mazda dealer as soon as I got my car, and they refused to beleive my bone stock MSP came that way from them. And it was a "Mazdaspeed" dealer.

Honestly, not even the V2 is made to stand up to 19psi.
In fact, I tell everyone who buys one now that modifying the mani itself
or running that kind of power will void the warranty. These were engineered
as an improvement and replacement for the stock manifold.

And yes, they are still made. I just don't do Group Buys for them any more.
