Please help!!! Headlight assembly hid

I recently got into a wreck and had to replace the headlight assembly on my drivers side. Now that i have my new assembly in i find its not the speed 3 GT HID assembly its the normal speed3 assembly and im needing to replace the bulbs i fitted the rear housing of my old projector light to the back of my new headlight so the bulb could plug in but i realized there is no room for the old headlights ballast or any of the wiring so my easiest route would be aftermarket HID without spending 800+ dollars on a new assembly.


My question is this, can anyone provide me the bulb code for the HID for aftermarket/oem Speed3 GT so that i can order them i need my car running and cant do that without headlights .

I believe H7 but you might want to wait for someone else to chime in who can confirm it.

The bulb that came with the stock HID headlight is a D2S bulb, however, if you have the halogen unit you'll need an H7 bulb like rsvinyl said. You can try eBay and purchase a MS3 HID headlight unit. The projector you have now will be different from the projector from the GT trim headlight. Your beam might be different from the passenger side even though you're putting in an aftermarket HID unit.

see thats what i was scared about as well but i ended up pulling apart my headlight and fitting the old rear part of the project that holds the bulb that broke in the accident to the end of the speed3 assembly which now has the same bulb size as my GT assembly so now i was just gonna run HIDS and hope for the best i kinda got no choice anymore haha
