Well, since I need to keep the warranty on the protege, I've decided to start up my first gen project again. Here are the details:

Rebuilt 12a - Streetported
S5 TII Turbo @ 12-14 PSI
FMIC (not sure about details on this yet)
Rejetted Nikki by RotaryShack.com

It'll be a blow through setup, and should be pretty powerful, 250-300 hp maybe, not sure though. Either way, it'll be fun. Combining my 2 favorite things, rotaries and boost

Also, I'll be using the TII exhaust manifold with mild modifications, and a jspec 12at intake manifold.

Will the Tii exhaust manifold fit on the 12a, or are you going to have to use a 12at manifold? I'd love to find an old corky bell setup...

the TII manifold just needs a little modifcation, but nothing major. it's pretty much just make some holes bigger etc. just grind some stuff and make it fit is what it boils down to hehe. I've been talking to coldy13 a lot on rx7club, and he said

oval bolt holes, grind exhaust paths inward so they match the 12a manifold gasket

Shouldn't be too hard. Eventually I'll need to get a TII tranny though, and I hear it can be tricky mating it with a 12a.
