i didnt have a spare engine laying around... one of my good friends drove with me to ohio to pick up a new one. off a 2002 p5 ... i got a damn good deal on it too... its like it was meant for me to buy it...

Yea, would you believe that engine fit into the trunk of my Neon? The intake manifold stayed on, we just took the exhaust manifold and cat off and it plopped right in with the spare tire out. Too bad we didn't get a pic of that.
