They were really easy to remove. Got my new Mazda 2 today and it was humid and rainy in Miami so i was able to remove the pin stripes with my fingers and a little help from my thumb. Zero paint damage. (lol2)

Who ordered these anyways? (huh)

Haha sounds like me kinda. I left mine on because they go all the way around the back n I kinda like it for now but I just got right underneath all the dealers bs they slap on there.

Yes. Some of us don't have loads of money....yet....that's why I'm a full time student...I use to be a pharmacy technician but now I'm about to start my clinicals for nursing. Paid 9200 cash for mine.

Oh no, i wasn't talking about your financial status. haha. I thought you bought a used Mazda 2. You have a Mazda 3.

lol @ the exchange.

You made the right decision, pharmacy techs are kooked in up in a little room and despite the money seems like suicide to me...nurses however...they can walk around and keep their sanity. Remember, they dont make adult movies involving naughty pharmacy technicians for a reason.

lol..im a dork and have no filter.

Haha no need to worry about a filter....and being a pharmacy tech wasn't that bad. Our room was pretty big and we were constantly rotating so that we didn't get burnt out on dealing w patients or just filling bottles. There were always issues too. It amazes me how idiotic people are especially when it comes to things that keep them healthy and/or alive. Anyways...I'm sure ill be just as amazed when I receive my degree....plus I think the world would be a better place if we got to wear the uniforms u see in those movies. Lol. Give the sick some hope. Hahaha.

Oh and sorry for turning your post about pin striping into something totally different.

Is pin striping a common thing at some dealers? My 2 didn't come with any, nor have I ever seen a 2 with pin stripes.

I know that many dealers will strike a deal with someone who does car graphics. They'll then have him come in and pinstripe entire batches of cars for a lump sum, then pass the charge along on your invoice as "Custom pinstriping: $150." Super easy money for the dealer. It's ridiculous.

Same thing goes on with tinting, once its done, youre stuck paying for it if you want that car. My 2008 mazda5 was CRAZY tinted when I bought it in michigan. Literally limo tinted from the rear doors back and the dealer was like "we tint all of our vehicles, customers like it". When I drive my wife's car when I back out of the driveway at night I have to roll the windows down and look around and hope I dont run over people walking on the sidewalk...but it looks damn cool lol.

Haha I have to do the same thing even though my backs n sides are only 5% and my driver/pass are 30%. But my tail lights are tinted as well...so its just crazy.

Interesting. There must be some law in California that doesn't allows dealers to do that. Makes sense for other dealers though, it equates to free money.

Although it is a dirty move on the dealers it's up to the buyer to see that detail in the contract. The dealers do a great job of hiding it though.
