I have a great dealership with a history of great service installing my Clutchmaster Stage IIR, Fidanza Flywheel, Mazdaspeed LSD and FINALLY my rear AWR Motor mount.

Davewood Mazda is a sponsor of our club, so we get a substantial discount on both service and parts.

This is being done while I'm away on business, so here ya go:

What a beautiful flywheel!

Awesome.... In the last pic I like how the 350z and the Firebird trailing behind the MP5!!

That car has some crazy suspension set up on that thing...other than that...I'm not 100% sure what they have done to the engine.

I know in SCCA the motor has to production with only exhaust and intake mods. I don't think they are allowed to mod the internals. Then again I not sure what the requirements are in Canada.

Looking good man, we have similar setups. You will be impessed. The clutchmasters are real smooth, and the LSD is great.

you might want to empty out your door pockets and all change from your car for the first few weeks with the rear mount. The rattle will drive you nuts.

i just got my clutchmasters stage IIR and fidanza flywheel too and i am wondering how much lighter is the stock compared to the fidanza?

you mean fidanza compare to stock:D

i remeber the stock being around 20lb and fidanza around 9lbs. these arent exact # but i think they are close.

Stock is 18 lbs I believe. . .I've heard of different fidanza weights, but 9 seems about right. Then the indigos seem to be 12 and the mazdaspeed is 15. At least that is what I recall. . .but as I said, I've heard of lower numbers being quoted for the fidanza and indigo, but maybe they were "special" ones.

Man, I wish I had a decent shop to do my install!

That's right...Stock 18, JDM Mazdaspeed 15 or 9 and then whatever the other ones you said.

Well, I have been emailing back and forth with the dealership and apparently the Master Tec, the service manager and a few others have been taking the car out for a quick test spin (i trust them 100%). They all agree that the LSD increases the overall driveablility of the P5 regardless of modifications. They highly recommend this upgrade and noted that any mazda dealership "should" be able to do this type of install. NO special tools are needed for this job.

Bottom line, if you can afford it...if you are changing your clutch...change out the LSD.

I got mine from a regular Mazda Dealer in the Toronto Area.

I will confirm my price when I get the invoice...but around $550 Canadian with our club discount!!

apparently (i can only use emails right now to communicate with the dealer), but i seem to have ordered all the required pieces.

The following is US pricing (yours may differ):

Here is the run down on cost:

(2) G5ro-27-350B Bearing $48.38
(1) MSP LSD - GS01-27-190A $569.86
(1) f520-17-628 Nut, lock
(1) F521-17-628a Nut, lock $36.59
