1. Where in the world did you take those pics?
2. What exactly do you have in the openings on the side of the front bumper?
3. You ARE getting mesh for the lower center grille, right?
4. I thought the badge in your grille looked good, but when I saw it up close, it looks totally out of place. It's definately original...I haven't seen anyone use the Mazdaspeed badge anywhere else, but I think the MSM badge would look better: http://www.finishlineperformance.com/cgi-bin/shopper.cgi?key=EX1108&preadd=action (only $36)!

Car looks REALLY good! Any way I could convince you to put on a smoked license plate cover?

1. Sandy Hook, NJ @ the old gun battery.. or whatever it was. I think it also has secret tunnels and crap in there.
2. Just some aluminum rods bought from Home Depot.

And no. I'm gonna get hassled enough for not having a front liscense plate. Getting a smoked cover for my rear plate would be trouble.. considering my trunk is shaved, cops wouldn't even know what kind of car it was. Anyways, I'm getting custom plates as soon as I stop being lazy and fill out the form.

If I'm right (99.9% sure) they were taken at Sandy Hook..a peninsula in NJ. There's a whole bunch of gun batteries that at one time protected NYC from attacks/invasions via ships.

Now they're all abandoned, and falling apart. But it's a cool place to visit..I have plenty of pics of it. It's only 40 minutes from my house, plus I like the beaches there.

1. Cool place, never seen it before
2. Never would of thought of doing that, but it looks good

Understandable...my rear is debadged, but I don't have the funds to get the holes filled & painted by a shop yet (but I don't even notice them anymore). I get people thinking my car is an Impreza or Lancer all the time. Custom plate will look cool, but let me know what you think about the MSM badge.

I like the mx-5 mazdaspeed logo.. but I'm used to the one I have now.. and anyways it's put on with epoxy, so if I took it off, that crap would still be stuck the mesh.

And no I'm NOT getting mesh for my front bumper.. but I AM getting a FMIC after I get my rims. Mesh is over used.

UMMM...DUDE fix those pics so your license plate is black'd out.. u dont know who is on here

Cool...I know you're making your car mostly for show, but you also have the stealth black look going on. I couldn't convince you to paint your FMIC black (since I can't find anyone who sells them black besides APS). Two of my friends have the black APS FMICs on their WRXs & it looks bad ass!

I'm thinking of getting one that is silver.. but has the black words written on it.. like SPEARCO or HKS.. or whatever, you get the idea. A black one sounds like a cool idea.. but I want it to be noticeable.

I'm only gonna have those plates for another month tops.. what should I be worried about? My hometown is in my avatar.. so I really don't think plates matter...

i can find out where exactly u live, phone numbers, all criminal/non criminal violations (like tickets/DUI's and such), where u work, etc....

hawt car!

the whole plate covering is dumb if its your car... someone could copy it down while they see you driving etc. its good to black out other people's incase they are sensitive about it, but come on... how many theifs spend their time online looking for cars..
