I still think they could have made the Panel gaps just as tight as they were with the factory unit, But It does look great with a Double Din head, NICE!

Yeah I know about the gaps... but over all it looks good. I will take some pics during the day... The Avic D3 is awesome! Great head unit!

Looks great, that's exactly what I'm planning on doing. I see you have the digital climate control, can you tell me what you get on the upper info display now that the stock radio is gone? Also if you had Bose can you tell me any problems wiring up the new HU with that?

Better then the built-in unit I guess. I would look for a unit with Navteq maps though. TeleAtlas (which is used in the D3) maps are not as good as Navteq.

Yes you can see digital climate controls up top.
I didn't have the bose and the tech pack... (I was not impressed with the 4000,00 tech package) I have MB quart 6 inch comp. Front and rear. powered by PPI and a JL 10W7 powered by a JL 1000/1. Sounds great!
And this setup was cheaper than stock (I even have Bluetooth and a Pioneer backup camera) oh and this Head unit plays DVD's!

I have not used the Nav much, but the few times I have its been great!

Nice install Jason... Pioneer makes some good units. I got the Z2 myself, but the D3 is a great one too.
