Pics of My 2000 Protege w/ kit

When I had my stock bumpers on they were abused. Some girl hit me and there was no damage to the plastic bumper at all. The worst of it came from my mom backing into my car when she was leaving the driveway. She was in a Blazer and the ball hitch made a dent. I really hope no one hits me now though :(

I was thinking about painting my handles but I was advised against it because they might chip in the future (im not saying my source is reliable or anything)

Greg :What did you use to paint your interior? Im too lazy to search

I used a vinyl paint from Plastikote. I would recommed getting the stuff with added flex in it so that it doesn't chip and crack when you re-install everything.

I am changing wheels because I want to get rid of some of the silver. So the wheels and the hood are going. Besides I really wanted 18s instead of 17s.

oh well i still reckon they look sweet - don't matter you can't go wrong with your wheels - that sweet interior covers the lot..

how did you get that leather done? was it an upholsterer or did you do it yourself

There is a shop around my town that does alot of work for dealerships. They repair upholstery and what not. Well one of the guys really likes doing custom Katzkin seats. There is no way I could have done what he did myself.

The wheels I am getting are Exel Ennio's. They will 18s in gunmetal. For the hood I am going to have to order from that link you gave me because I couldn't find any others who carry it. I asked but they didn't have pictures.

steering wheel

What are you thinking about doing with the steering wheel? Are you going to leave it stock or replace it? The car looks great by the way!

Your car is the best Protege I've ever seen. Good job!!!

Btw, how is your car performance-wise?

I have my eyes on a silver and black MOMO Trek wheel. Right now I painted my stock one black. It looks good but I want something a little more "aggressive" looking.

oh yeah when you get that hood I want pics!!!!!!!!! Are you getting the one with the scoop or the OEM one?

I am leaning towards the OEM one. I am not a huge fan of hood scoops. Plus the lancer style is another $100 on top of an already huge cost.

It is nothing special. Handles great with the springs. Not much in the power department though. Atleast it sounds good.

Protege2K check this photoshop of how your car look lower.
