Update on the CX9...LOVE IT! So far got the clear bra all over the front end, back of mirrors, door edges and door cups (where the handles are). I would take pics, but you can't see it anyway so...

Waiting for the roof rails (no crossbars), got a good deal on Amazon for $284 for factory pieces!
Can't really find anything we don't like about it so far; I would like about 2 more inches of clearance on the rear hatch when open though!
Glad to hear that you're enjoying your new CX-9 so much! The roof rack definitely adds to the overall look, in my opinion, and I also just have the side rails without the crossbars. It's cheaper and it's easier to wash the roof w/o the crossbars also.
You should take a look at the "Rear Bumper Guard" which is Stainless Steel but matches the chrome trim perfectly. It looks great on my White CX-9, but I've also seen it on Black and Gray models and it looked amazing! I think the same would be true against the Zeal Red. Here's a link to it-
BUMPER GUARD. It retails for $149.95 but the dealership at that link discounts it to $117. FYI- I've been ordering accessories and parts from them for over eight years and they are awesome- knowledgeable, friendly and they ship orders over $100 for free.
If you don't have anything to protect the cargo area yet, I highly recommend the
CARGO TRAY. It is actually three separate parts, one that covers the area behind the 3rd row and the other two attach the 3rd row seatbacks so they're covering the floor when the seats are down but the seats can fold up without removing them.
If you're interested in All-Weather Floormats, I am a huge fan of WeatherTech. Their products are better than ANY OEM Accessory Mats I've seen including the ones from luxury brands! They have conventional All-Weather rubber mats ($99.95) or their high-end product called FloorLiners which are designed to perfectly fit the contours of your front footwells and cover every inch of carpet (they're $199.90). I ordered the regular All-Weather set for my CX-9, just like I have for my last three vehicles, and the front ones fit perfectly but the rear ones weren't designed to fit around the 2nd row's seat tracks. I ended up ordering the FloorLiner for the 2nd/3rd row (it's all one piece) and it has cutouts for the tracks and fit perfectly. The FloorLiner also has a slight lip on the edges so spills don't run off the mats onto the surrounding carpet or under the front seats!
Did you get the Paint Protection Kit from Mazda or did you buy it from a company such as 'Clear Bra'? Mazda only offered the Clear Door Edge Film when I bought my 2012 and I got those. WeatherTech has a headlight protection film called LampGard and I recently installed those also. Each headlight assembly lists for $1160-$1170, so I wanted to do whatever I could to protect them!
So I have the headlights and door edges protected, but I would love to something to protect the hood and front bumper. All of my past vehicles suffered from "road rash" of varying degrees well before the 50k mile mark and I do NOT want that to happen to my CX-9! I've made it 28k miles with just a tiny stone chip on the lower part of the front bumper (covered with touch-up paint) and I want it to stay that way. I've been anxious to hear how well the aftermarket kits fit and look from someone who has them. Clear Bra uses the best 3M film material, so that's encouraging. In any case, you were very wise to have it installed on your new ride!
