Picking up my MSP from the shop tonight

I have this weird twitch from being without my car for a few days. I got some upgrades done but I'll see if any problems occur. Hopefully no stalling, idling, or motor blowing issues :)

What was getting installed...the intercooler piping?? or is that done?

hey, have you been able to check your PMs?
did you get the one i sent you? let me know, i will probably be needing that stuff now LOL :D

Yeah, the piping, i/c, bov, and intake is getting installed. I'm going to the LA meet this saturday and let the ppl there get a look at it. It's nothing most haven't seen already but I'll post some pics once I get them from the shop.

In due time my friend, you will. I want a damn down pipe now, that will be coming soon. If you haven't already looked at the pile we have now, it'll make you cry. Can't believe calloway would do that to a turbo =(

Yeah, I got the PM. I didn't want to send some paint for a car you didn't have back from the shop yet. I'll get it to you. Sorry to hear about the ride man. I've been to the track a couple of times and it helps plenty. One bad thing was I changed the tire pressure back for daily driving and took a turn way too quick and almost hit a light pole. Not a pleasant thought. Take care. Later. Oh, and make sure you inspect the car good. I work @ a body shop and they are some very very bad ones out there. I would inspect it for you but you're not in cali.

Damn, I wish I had my MSP back...I would have loved to meet up with you all in LA...Things aren't anywhere near completed with the car, so hopefully the next one I can attend...Good luck everyone!!

thanks and good luck with the car. make sure the paint is perfect or don't accept it. No fish eyes, dirt specs, or runs. Ofcourse the gaps are very important also.

I'm trying man. I got a call that he needed another day. I was fine with that because I want him to do it right the first time. Plus he took all the pictures and has them for now. I'm going to also try and do a write up.

For us black is a hard one to paint. I love how black looks but would never get one. Don't worry about paying, you've been through enough bro. I slid off of the track and was freaking mad, I have a small chip on my rim lip, cosmetic crack on my tire side wall, and my alignment is off by like .01 which I'm not too worried.

its a hard one to paint? uh oh...that doesnt sound good...

um ... how do you think mine will look? ehh crap...:(

sorry about the rim and s*** :(

Don't worry, it depends on what the shop uses for their paint distributor. We use Sherwin Williams (sp?) and their black is horrible. The master painter has tried every technique he knows, it's just reacting weird. As in chips, swirls, major fish eyes, reactions, wrinkling. Just make sure it looks good and you'll be fine. Always take extra eyes to look.

Don't worry man, you'll be on the road soon enough with one of these

:D
