Trust me man huge props from me, it's about time someone did something different then the autoexe, mintblue stuff. Just one thing I want that bumper would you be able to hook me up? I've been looking for a good bumper and now I have found it, I've always loved that style of bumper, crap I love the evo 7. PM me with details if you wouldn't mind sharing. I'm also on the Toprotegeclub.

I've called JT autostyles and they said they don't sell it. Hook a protege brother up

Brennan I got the bumper directly through JT Autostyle, the guy said they had an 03 bumper there, and that's what they sent me, that's all I know.

the front bumper is too much IMO but I still think the car looks awesome and I would be droolin and takin pics if i saw it at a car show

I think im gonna go ahead and put my months and months of wheel shopping to bed and get some of those SICK lookin S7s....

Do you happen to know how much they weigh with rubber?

Sorry I don't know how much they weigh with rubber, I did my wheel browsing through 1010 Tires and they have all the weights and specs there for many different brands.

what about the offset. they only list a 42 offset. Is this what you got? DO they rub?

I was under the impression that on alowered protege to run 18x7.5 you needed a 45mm offset or greater?

I've had 4 people in the car over extremly rough bumps and at the Mazda Madness show I had 4 in the car over a "jump" where we actually got air and I've never heard the tires rub once. I did however, scrape the underside of the front bumper when we landed.

how about on sharp corners? if you cut your wheel all the way to one side does it rub?

can someone close to rosemead truly find out if they can get that bumper, i've called them once and they really didn't know much and I don't feel like calling them again and asking if they carry 01's which is the same as the 03's but worth a try. I don't want to put that call on my phone bill, it's too expensive.

Lol, I can vouch as I was in the passenger seat.

About 5' from the bump (which was on a decline so we didn't see it till we were there) my face went something like

Surprisingly, the bumper stayed on and no rubbin' action. Very cool...

I 2nd can vouch for it too. I was in the backseat. Ya that was a lot air time but I thought that bumper was cracked with we hit the ground. Can't wait til the next ride.

hey phrisco, did u get it done at a shop in richmond? forgot the name but it branches off into another street halfway through bridgeport. Well, my friend was getting this lip fixed and i saw ur car on the lift with front bumber off, reconized the rims and the intercooler. It looks really good now! Now i'm regreting not goin to the import show!
