Photoshoot with a couple of GTIs

Nothing too fancy, just some pics that we did quick. Next time we'll have our cars nice and waxed and do a few more individual shots and in some better lighting, maybe some rolling.

nice, I like the wheel style - looks like a pretty aggressive wheel fitment - are you lowered?

some of those shots would have benefited greatly from a tripod

Very nice! I like the wheels; what's the offset on those? Looks pretty agressive as noted. I would guess at least a +43

A lot of these shots are out of focus. I'd highly recommend a tri-pod and maybe up the ISO a little bit if you're going hand held. Those stockers on that newer GTI are disgusting O_O...

Well my friend was taking the pics, he had a tripod but didnt use it the whole time. Next time i'm going to bring along my own camera and take some shots myself. The offset is +45, i guess it looks more agressive cuz i have 235 wide tires. And no i'm not lowered.

Haha yeah, its pretty much a van. My friend is planning on getting some h&r springs that'll give him a 1.5" drop

I was planning on taking a GTI out for a test drive, but I drove the Speed first -- didn't even bother going to the VW dealer after that. I do like VW interiors though...very nice.

drove my friends white one today. they really are smoothe but, the speed isn't even in the same ballpark. oh also did a few pulls on the highway, completely crushed him. he is going with intake, bpv and a few other mods soon though.

8" wide plus +45 offset plus 235 wide tires equals fender rub, so i had them rolled and rarely rub when i've got 5 ppl in the car. I believe i payed 215 a piece, some places mark them up to 265 so watch out.
