PG short ram intake

does anyone have this intake on their MS6? i'm in the market for an sri and i am leaning towards the PG unit. i just didn't know if it threw any CEL's or anything. i know some intakes on the market do. i couldn't find any reviews of this intake anywhere. let me know what you think if you're running this intake. thanks...

we just released this product. So far, I've only sold on to a ms3 customer.

the ms3 we tested this on had no issues whatsoever.

also, i'm concerned with the fact that the hose that vents back into the intake tract is right beside the maf sensor. would the sensor get oily from the vapors? why is it designed this way!

it is no longer designed that way. that was the prototype MAF housing which we changed after unit #1. there was some concern with MAF turbulence and screwing with the fuel trims. even on the test car at -20 degrees (yes, it gets THAT cold here) we saw no evidence of there being a problem from our datalogs. nonetheless, it has been moved farther back and is no longer in the path of the MAF sensor.

It looks fairly similar to the CPE, and I'm assuming that it is meant to be similar and compete directly, but with a $50 lower price tag, which is a nice bonus.

So to summarize some of the differences, the PG uses a K&N filter, and the CPE uses ___________ (anyone?)... both have flow straighteners... PG is stainless steel housing with silicone, and CPE is aluminum housing with silicone... anything else I missed? I'd still like to see some more/better pics of the PG.

just check and its still the same pics. if they changed it i'd think they'd wanna change the pics to reflect the new design.

i have to wait until friday for AT&T to come back. another week with no internet and no TV. i'm going to see if i can upload them to my MP3 player and bring them to another place and upload them. i guess technology is only as good as the people that get it installed for you.
