outONyou said:why were the jets 5-0? cause they have the easiest schedule in the whole nfl....who were there 5 wins from ....bengals 24-31....Chargers which was also a close game 28-34.....miami 17-9.....buffalo 16-14 san fran 22-14...so how did they have a chance in hell to beat the pats when they sucked so bad against the worst teams in the nfl?
We're going to penalize the Jets for getting an easy schedule now? (btw, look at who they play later on... it defintiely evens out.) You play who you play... A win is a win! (just like a loss is a loss.) there ARE no moral victories in the NFL. Before I get even more redundant, let me state the title of a halfway decent football movie "any given sunday". It references the fact that ANYTHING can happen. There is such parity in the league right now... look at what happened to the Broncos on Monday night. Or how about the Rams this past sunday!! To say that ANY team is a lock to win a game means you're not paying attention. Are some games easier than others? Clearly. Can you take certain teams for granted? Not if you want to make it to the big dance.
As far as it being no wonder they lost to the Pats simply because all 5 of their wins were close games also proves you're either smokin crack or were the victim of one too many concusssions in pee wee football league. I mean HELLO??? from start to finish, the game was close. Neither offense could do s***. while it was a legitamate win for the Pats, realize that the difference in the game came from a late TD to end the first half. A TD that wouldnt' have been possible without the incrediblly questionable roughin the passer pentalty against D.Robertson. I tivoed the game and couldnt' believe it. A freakin love tap! guys get away with more in the pussy s*** nba!! even the announcers were trashin the call... but either way, that's football. happens on both sides of the ball. my point is simple. While the Jets clearly can't dominate a team the way the Eagles or Vikings can, they'll be in EVERY game (just like the Patriots) because they're SOLID!! Unfortuneatly, unless the Patriots start losing... they'll be at best, a wild card. wild cards win all the time in baseball... not in football..
