passcode locked

I have a 2008 mazda cx9 sport, I am second owner,just tried to sync my iphone after losing to many ear pcs and I find out the passcode is locked, any ideas on how to reset the passcode, and yes I have tried the obvious ones, I have the touch screen nav and audio system, certainly would appreciate some help, 2 dealers both said "don't know"

Have you tried un-pairing the iPhone, and pair again?

If you have exhausted all options, try disconnecting the (-) battery terminal for 30s, and reattach it.
This will wipe out all prior settings stored in the system.
