Parrot Asteroid Android Head Unit

Has anyone installed this in their CX-5? http://www.parrot.com/usa/products/asteroid-range/parrot-asteroid-smart

I don't have the navigation system in my CX-5 and from what everyone is saying here probably not worth adding. This looks like an interesting option and I can use TuneIn directly on it instead of streaming from my cell. Also I already have an amp so could use the Line Level outputs. Interested to know if anyone has put this in and if the original backup camera and steering wheel controls integrate perfectly with it.

I don't own this but I have been reading about potential head unit upgrades and did a little research. Tom's Hardware did not like it:

For one, it looks like it doesn't resume audio playback. That's kind of a touchy subject around the CX-5 forum... (gah)

Thanks for the link to that article. On the last page though they say overall they liked the unit. The two things that bother me from the review are the backup camera app crashing if you don't cancel every time you put it in park and the glare on the screen. Every other review that I read though said the screen is awesome and looks great even in direct sunlight so I'm a little confused about that. Seems to be as long as you side load the apps you plan on using you should be able to get desired results. The resume playback I understand is a big problem, but not a concern for me because I stream all my music, so having TuneIn and potentially Rdio built in plus FM is perfect for me. If I can get google maps and sygic running for navigation I can ignore the built in iGo which they don't like. Unfortunately doesn't help answer how well steering wheel control and reverse camera with our cars integrate since they seemed to have mixed results with the different cars.
