PAR straight cut 4th gear

Hey guys/gals. I'm going up to speedcircuit to pick up my extra set of 4th gear. I'm going to be selling it. These are 850.00 brand new. and that's just what these are.

I'm not exactly sure what the casting issues are, but, again they are brand new. These were not used. they had the plastic/wax coating on when I dropped them @ Speedcircuit.


It's new. Looking for 400.00 shipped/paypalled.

Can you verify that it will be compatible with the stock shaft.. Mine will not. It would be unfortunate for someone to buy this from you... and pay to have it installed and find out that it wont work...

Good question as I don't know much about these other than they are supposed to be the best aftermarket replacement gears.

this is the thread of the gears I have.

they are tripoint gear sets, not stock ratio.
I THINK you can still install them, however I'm not sure.

In this picture you can see the needle roller bearings... which means that they are not compatible with the stock shaft..

The stock shaft would have to be machined for this to work.

actually you don't HAVE to use the needle roller bearings. and if you do, you can machine the gear itself for them according to the thread.

Also, I asked Dino @ Speedcircuit if this would work on a stock shaft and he said, "the way its setup. in most cases, yes."

I'm picking it up today. Actually the link I posted has the info. It's a set of new 4th gear, straight cut. Lower ratio. Will work on stock shaft. This is a killer deal

What it s the ratio, simply put.. I can help you predict what the overall speed diference will be..

I will also post to the credit of this gear.

Many people install straight cut gears in 3 and 4 only in their DD/Race Car...

It get the gears that get beat on strong but lets you drive home nice and quiet..

id be all over this if it was the 3rd gear, or if you had a 3rd gear as well
