painting pillar gauge pod to match interior

1 have a 2003.5 yellow msp, and I can't be the first one who has wanted a interior color-matched a-pillar gauge pod.

Has anyone else painted theirs? if so, what brand/color of paint did you use?

I used a medium gray Krylon Fusion from walmart, I think it turned out pretty good.

Yea

just Did mine, came out awsome,i used the krylon interior paint,it matched perfect, you can pic it up at like advance auto parts

^^^^^^^^ Which color was it from Krylon? They have I believe two or three tan colors.

I have thought about painting all the grey to black to match the seats and carpet though as well.

umm

umm there was one mild grey one, thats the one i used,i think i still have the can at home,if i do when i get home later tonight il take a picture of it and put it up here for you,it worked out awesome and would recommend it to anyone doing this job,and my car is in the shop right now,so when i get it back this weekend ill take some shots of the pillar in the car to show you how it looks

i was originally thinging to change it all to black but,i like it a lil lighter less heat draw and looks more OEM ...but thats my style,i dont like things to flashy

I can get you guys the paint color later on tonight. The fusion stuff is IDENTICAL. (disclaimer: maybe not to a perfectionist or a total douche. end disclaimer) L:) If this forum is anything like the other forums I frequent someone would chime in about how the krylon stuff has more beige or something lol.

Id paint your silver parts and match that if it were me.

i used the same paint for mine. i did the silver part on the seats as well and turned out amazing! just take the seats out, tape everything off and spray. i've had it for a while and still no wear and doesn't show signs of chipping or anything.it worked great.
